Serving Places
We believe the church is called to minister outside its walls, in the community, in the nation and in the world.
Hildebran UMC reaches out to those around us, sharing the love and grace of Jesus in concrete ways.
Souper Monday Food Ministry:
Each Monday volunteers from the church deliver meals to folks in the community. Some of these people are struggling financially while others need a visit to know someone cares for them.
Middle School Devotions:
Volunteers from the church are blessed to lead devotions at our local middle school three days each week. Students gather before school to sing, pray, and have an encouraging start to their day.
Adult and Youth Building Mission Trips
Each summer our youth spend a week in a neighboring county repairing sub-standard housing. They share the love of Christ and experience how God is working in their lives and the lives of others.
Broughton Ministry:
One Sunday each month a group of volunteers spends the afternoon with patients of the local State Mental Hospital.
