We believe discovering God's purpose in our lives is best accomplished through being part of a community.
At Hildebran, we offer opportunities to be a part of a small group. Small groups help us relate to the entire church and to God.
Sunday Morning Groups
Each Sunday morning at 9:45AM adults, youth, and children have the opportunity to meet together and explore God's love. Age level appropriate studies are available for youth and children. Adults may choose from groups that feature varying subject matter and teaching styles.
Wednesday Night Study
Our Wednesday night ministries offer a mid-week boost to busy lives. After our fellowship meal, the youth and children have fun and learn how to cope with challenges unique to their situation. The adults join in one group to discover how God's Word relates practically to life today.
United Methodist Women
On the first Tuesday each month at 7PM a group of ladies under the banner of the United Methodist Women meet to grow and serve together. Although the UMW concentrates on supporting foreign missions, they are also active in assisting folks in our community.
United Methodist Men
The first Sunday each month at 8AM is time for United Methodist Men's Breakfast. During this time, the men of the church share a meal and discuss their benevolence efforts. The UMM sponsors several meals (including a BBQ and Fish Fry) during the year. In December, the men sell Christmas trees in their lot in front of the church. All of their funds go to help people in the community.
Monday Prayer Group
Each Monday at 8AM the church is invited to gather in the sanctuary to pray for others and for God's guidance in the church. Everyone is invited to share breakfast after prayer at a local restaurant.
